Helping women end the mental battle with food and their body

My name is Aoife O’Brien and you are very welcome to my website. If food and your body take up far more headspace than you want, you’re not alone and you’re not broken.
I work with women who have tried every diet, plan, and approach under the sun, and often done deep personal or therapeutic work, yet still feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, control, and self-criticism around eating and their body.
My work supports you to step out of these patterns and build a calmer, more trusting, and more flexible relationship with food and yourself, so you can live with less mental load and more ease.

If you’re tired of thinking about food all the time, judging your body, or feeling stuck between control and guilt, you’re in the right place. I have been exactly where you are and understand how exhausting this struggle can be. My work is grounded in lived experience and supported by training in nutrition, trauma- and psychology-informed practice, and body-based, nervous system approaches. 

Together, we focus on understanding what’s really driving your patterns and creating a way of eating and living that feels steadier, kinder, and more sustainable.

This is for you if you want a peaceful, healthy relationship with food and movement without focusing on a diet plan or weighing scales. My approach is inclusive, respectful and HAES aligned

Eating Disorder Recovery

Helps with Binge Eating, Emotional Eating, Bulimia, and Orthorexia. Eating Disorders are a symptom of under-lying issues.

I help shine a light on these so you can understand your behaviours and ultimately, Free yourself from them. Full recovery is possible

Group Workshops

Available for corporate speaking events, workplace wellbeing initiatives, seminars, panel discussions, school and community workshops.

I offer a range of popular options or can work with your organisation/team to develop a bespoke offering.
